Having qualified from The Middlesex Hospital School of Physiotherapy, London, Frances has gained many years of experience in the field of trauma, orthopaedics and musculoskeletal outpatients, having worked in senior positions in consultant lead Orthopaedic and A&E clinics at major teaching hospitals in the West Midlands and Warwickshire. She has worked in fast paced environments treating a huge variety of Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal conditions to include patient self-referrals, GP referrals, Consultant Orthopaedic referrals to include all trauma and planned surgical cases, both in-patient and outpatient. Frances now works solely in private practice.

Frances is a qualified Pilates Instructor having completed the APPI Pilates training (The Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) enabling her to teach in the class environment or on an individual basis.

Having joined the medical team at Thanet Wanderers RUFC in August 2022, Frances is taking up the position of Lead Physiotherapist in September 2023 being responsible for the management and treatment of the 1st team injuries resulting from pitch side trauma and on-going overuse injuries and conditions.

Frances is an AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists) qualified Acupuncturist and can offer acupuncture as part of her treatment plan, which proves to be an invaluable adjunct to her repertoire.
