MSc Exercise Science Student
Louise qualified with a 1st class BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy from University of Kent in 2020 and has worked as a Personal Trainer from 1999 and Sports Massage Therapist from 2017. Louise has worked in both sport and private practice using her clinical skills to treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal pain complaints. Working within the Therapy team at Thanet Wanderers RUFC, Louise has gained valuable experience in sports injuries from acute sports trauma to chronic post-operative rehabilitation returning athletes to sport.
Alongside private practice, Louise is a part time lecturer for the undergraduate degree in Sports Therapy & Injury Rehabilitation at Canterbury Christchurch University and enjoys passing down her knowledge and expertise to students.
With an ongoing passion for educating and evidence-based practice Louise is currently studying an MSc in Applied Exercise Science with Canterbury Christchurch University. Louise also has a special interest in the sport of triathlon, surf lifesaving sport, pilates and is currently gaining Mat Pilates qualification with Polestar Pilates.
