Monique qualified with a 1st class BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy and Injury Rehabilitation from the University of Kent in 2012. Since graduating Monique has worked in both private practice and within multitude of sports environments.
Head of the medical team for Thanet Wanderers RUFC for 5 years, Monique is responsible for the management and treatment of all 1st team and senior injuries that range from pitch side sports trauma to chronic overuse complaints. Monique has also completed a placement at Saracens RUFC, is head of the medical team for Kent Rugby, and is head of the medical team for the TSC Academy across South East Kent.
Striving for best practice and applying an evidence-based approach, Monique is able to provide a wide range of manual therapy skills and sports specific rehabilitation strategies, to ensure the most efficient treatment in order to help patients return to function as quickly as possible.
Dedicated to CPD, Monique is currently studying for her MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine with the University of South Wales and hopes to graduate in March 2021. Attending conferences, workshops, and courses, Monique is able to ensure the highest standards of patient care specialising in musculoskeletal medicine.
